February 9, 2012 - Breakfast with the Mayor
Leadership Dallas Alumni will host their annual Breakfast with the Mayor on Thursday, February 9. This members-only event will host Mayor Mike Rawlings for a discussion on city issues, how Leadership Dallas Alumni can be involved and his goals for the coming year. Annual Leadership Lunch Celebrates 35 Years of LD
The Annual Leadership Luncheon, held on December 6, 2011, marked 35 years of Leadership Dallas. The event included a presentation of 35 LDA Heroes, who embody the mission and vision of LD, as well as the presentation of the 2011 Distinguished Alumnus Award to Patti Clapp '83.
The keynote speaker for the event, Garrett Boone, Chairman Emeritus and one of the founders of The Container Store, emphasized the importance of being involved and giving back.
Leadership Dallas was founded with the vision of providing our region with an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts and sustainers of positive change for the quality of life in the Dallas area. We firmly believe that the 35 Heroes embody this vision and their work in the community highlights the value and impact that Leadership Dallas has on our region.
